Buderim falls (also known as Serenity Falls), is a popular natural attraction known for its picturesque setting and serene surroundings. The falls cascade down a series of rock pools surrounded by lush rainforest vegetation.
How to get there:
Visitors can access Buderim Falls via a loop walking track off Quorn close, that leads through the rainforest to the base of the falls. The track can be steep and slippery in some parts, so it's important to wear appropriate footwear and take caution. There is also a longer (but more rewarding) walk that starts off Harry's Lane, that takes you along a boardwalk along the creek up to the falls.
How long is the walk?
The loop track off Quorn close is 0.8km return, and the boardwalk off Harry's lane is 2.6km return. The boardwalk is wheelchair accessible for a kilometre or so, not far enough to get to the falls but enough to make a stunning walk through the rainforest along the creek.
Facilities:
There is a beautiful picnic spot near the carpark on Harry's lane. Large open fields with nearby toilet facilities, all which are wheelchair accesible. This is easily one of my favourite picnic spots on the Sunshine Coast.
Secret hole in waterfall
Something not alot of people know, is there is a waterfall further down with a secret hole that you can stand up in.
FAQ
Can I swim in Buderim Falls?
Yes you can, just make sure you adhere to signs and don't swim when closed. After large amounts of rain the council will generally close the falls off for swimming. The falls are just below the town of Buderim so the falls receive all the runoff when the town floods, aka nasty water.
Are dogs allowed at Buderim Falls?
